Marissa Ciorciari is a licensed nutritionist and registered dietitian based out of Miami, Florida. Her passion for nutrition and health promotion has spawned into a career educating people how to eat healthfully and lead active lives.

Marissa has been educating a variety of people about nutrition for over 8 years. Her career has spanned from treating the chronically ill to educating future dietitians. Marissa received her bachelor’s degree in nutritional sciences from University of Connecticut in 2004 and graduated Cum Laude in 2011 with her Master’s in Clinical Nutrition from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. In 2005 she completed a Certificate in Training on Adult Weight Management, and has worked extensively with weight loss clients throughout her career. Marissa currently acts as a corporate wellness consultant and nutrition and dietetics adjunct professor.
Marissa has appeared both on radio and television as a nutrition expert, including Good Morning Maryland and Fox 29 Philadelphia news. She is an active member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (formerly known as the American Dietetic Association), Florida Dietetic Association, and Miami and Broward County Dietetic Association. She is the past co-Editor to the Infectious Disease Practice Dietetic Practice Group (DPG), and remains active members to Nutrition Entrepreneurs and Sports, Cardiovascular, and Wellness Nutrition DPGs.
